Membership fees
Our annual membership options are:
- Full Membership – £35 per year
- Concessionary Membership (students, retirees, trainee solicitors, pupils, unwaged) – £10 per year
- Micro Organisational Membership (fewer than 5 members) – £40 per year
- Organisational Membership (5 or more members) – £100 per year
We also coordinate the UK Animal Protection Alliance and offer enhanced membership options for non-profit organisations.

Members can get involved in a variety of ways, including:
- Drafting responses to government consultations
- Assisting with enquiries from the public and animal welfare organisations
- Contributing to training, research, and other projects
- Writing articles for The UK Journal of Animal Law
We welcome expertise from a wide range of legal and related fields, including public law, civil liberties, environmental health, planning law, freedom of information, civil litigation, media law, company law, and charity law.
In addition, general legal skills, such as advocacy, research and drafting, are highly valuable in supporting our work.
